Sensory information, such as the texture and feel of food, is essential for a rich eating experience. These sensations are mainly generated based on tactile information from the masticatory muscles that move the jaw and the periodontal ligament at the teeth’ root. While there have been many studies on the information from the masticatory muscles and many interfaces that utilize this information, there is not much knowledge on the periodontal ligament. Tactile information from the periodontal ligament is a source of information that significantly affects mastication. Therefore, to elucidate the relationship between tactile information from the periodontal ligament and masticatory behavior, we aim to develop a technology to generate individual
